Clean Up The World activities are spreading across the globe and in Dili, despite the problems facing the new nation of Timor L'Este, there are people recognising the importance of waste awareness, of education and action in the community to lead by example. The Clean Up the World activities at Dili International School was sponsored by a number of local businesses and supported by all the parents. The show was held on the last Friday morning of term and all the students presented their own segments before joining together to present the Environment Show and finish up with a beautiful song written by members of the staff in the local language of Tetum.
